I'm so glad it's Friday!  I'm going to go to a crop tonight until 2am and I'm going to see some people I haven't seen in a long time.  I hope to get some coloring done so I can make some cards this weekend.  I have been watching the Olympics so I haven't done much.

Unscripted Sketches #43

Happy Monday!  I hope everyone had a great weekend, we just hung around the house this weekend, nothing too exciting.  I did manage to get a couple of cards made though and a few images colored.  I hadn't felt like making anything lately but once I started I didn't want to stop:)

This week at Unscripted Sketches there was not only a sketch but a color combo to incorporate too.  This one is for a co-worker that is having a baby in March.

Hugs and Kisses

Hi there!  Here is a card I made for a swap at Splitcoast Stampers.  We could use our favorite stamp x 2, which meant that we could use two images, one image and one sentiment, or two sentiments.  I chose this cute birdie from Hero Arts.

Over the next fews days you probably won't see much from me because I have some design team commitments I need to take care of and a couple of swaps that need to be completed and mailed out.

Love is in the Air

Good Morning!  I hope everyone is having a great weekend, I know I am.  Yesterday we helped put together meals that are going over to Haiti, it was a mixture of rice, soy, dried veggies, and a vitamin tablet.  Once they receive it they will be able to put their own spices and meat to make a meal.  It was a very rewarding experience.  Today we're hoping to go see the Tooth Fairy, I'll let you know if it's any good. 

I made this card for my Crafty Critters group, today we are having a VSD and this challenge is going to kick it off!  The challenge was to make a boy card in honor of the men playing football today, combine it with two other challenges, and make sure there is no bling on it.

Happy Hump Day!

I hope everyone is having a great week so far, I was able to play a little bit tonight while watching LOST.  I've never really seen it before but it captivated me for two hours!  I have to find someone that watches it because I have a few questions....

I've had this digi since last year but never used it because my images always smeared...well I bought an Epson and I'm smudge free:)  Now it's like I have a bunch of new images since I haven't used any of them, yeh for me!  Plus I love the CC Design images from All That Scraps, they are sooooo cute!

Just My Sketches and The Blend Feb 1st

Deanne over at Just My Sketches has added a twist to her sketch blog.  Now there's not only a sketch to draw inspiration from but also you can choose from four songs to use as inspiration too.  There will be a card/layout sketch on the 1st of the month and another on the 15th so that will be four chances to be entered into her monthly drawing..who doesn't like prizes. 

I chose the song Put Your Records On by Corinne Bailey Rae...the opening line is "Three little birds, sat on my window".  I had the perfect stamp for this, don't you think!
