Easter Basket Tutorial

Morning! Over at Catch the Bug on Wednesday's each DT member takes turns creating a tutorial and today is my turn.

This is a very quick and easy project that you could put on your desk or even give as a present. I think the total time it took was maybe an hour.  Of course you could do this for any holiday or just because.  I was thinking about making some for Steph's teachers at the end of the year and putting a gift card inside.

The supplies you will need are:
~a Bugaboo image
~cardstock
~your favorite paper and embellishments

~First: Your're going to cut the piece of cardstock 7 1/2 x 7 1/2 and score it at 2 1/2 on all four sides.

~Second: You will need to cut along the scores and put some adhesive on the backside of your cardstock.

~Third:  You will start putting it together.  The sides with the adhesive will fold in and go inside the box.

It will look like this when you are done:

Then all you have to do is decorate it with your favorite Bugaboo stamp, paper, and embellishments.  You can use cardstock for your handle or even ribbon.

 Here's my final project:

I hope you like it!

I entered this into the following challenges:
~Stamp Something - digi
~Lexi's Creations - Easter

Supplies: Stamp: Bugaboo; Paper: PTI; Other: Copics, PTI Buttons, Distressing, and Flower.

TFL!

Love the basket and thank you so much for the tutorial. Do you make your own flowers or can you buy those somewhere?

Oh this is sooooo cute - I might try something like this for my boys this year - rather than their traditional wicker baskets.
