Easy Peasy Valentine's Day Cards

Good Morning,  Here are a couple of easy Valentine's Day cards for you.  Over at Splitcoast Stampers the Limited Supplies Challenge #253 was to create a card using the following criteria: 1. Create a happy card - which meant to make one in under 15 minutes, 2. Use something new - my Studio G stamp, and 3. It has to be for an annual event - Valentine's Day.  I was really happy because it only took me 15 minutes to make both cards!

Supplies: Paper: SU; Stamps: Studio G; Ink: Memento; Other: SU Ribbon and Nestabilities.

Happy Friday!

I'm sooooooooo glad it's Friday, it's been a long week at work.  I'm really excited for some downtime this weekend so I can make some cards.

I found two new sites this week you need to check out.  One is Eat Sleep Stamp, she posts sketches every Thursday.  The other is Hope Stamps Eternal, she has a store and a challenge blog that uses cupcakes as inspiration and you all know how I love cupcakes.  These are the cupcakes I took inspiration from this week.

Crafty Critter Challenge #15

Here is a card I made for my Crafty Critters group.  We were suppose to use buttons...check and it must be a little girl theme, meaning use all girl papers, buttons and colors...check..check.  I've used another image from The Greeting Farm and a sketch from their blog.
Just an FYI - I've found another site, it's called Anya Ink, it's a challenge blog.  It looks pretty cool so I'll definitely be particpating in the near future. You should check it out!

TGF Sketch #12

Isn't she just the cutest!  I found her at The Greeting Farm.  I actually have alot of their stamps, I'm really addicted to them.  If you haven't already you need to check them out.  I made this card from a sketch on The Greeting Farm Blog.  They had the 12 Days of Sketches and this was sketch #12.

There is also another blog associated with The Greeting Farm, it's Club Anya & Friends.  They have a couple really good tutorials and that is where I learned to color the hair on this card.

Just My Sketches #29

Good Morning!  It's freezing here in sunny Florida today!  Last night when we left a friends house it was so cold that I couldn't stop shaking and my body tensed all up, (I forgot about feeling from when I lived up North)...brrrrr.  It hasn't been that cold here since we moved down and that was 12 years ago and it's suppose to be like this for another week at least.

Anyway, here is a card I made from a sketch at Just My Sketches.  It's another Valentine Day card, not your typical pink card but I really like the bold colors.

Supplies: Paper: My Minds Eye, PTI, and SU; Stamp: The Greeting Farm; Copics: R00, E00, R20, E15, E17, E19, RV02, RV06, YG06, and YG09; Other: Stickles, Cuttlebug Folder, Nestabilities, Stitching, Inking, Ribbon, and a Tim Holtz Tag.
