Happy Birthday Robot

I've come to the conclusion that I need more designer paper for when I make cards for boys.  This is the only paper I have that is remotely close, I have other blue, green, and orange paper but they have flowers on them or are pretty feminine.  I found this cute digi at Pink Cat Studio, it's only the third stamp I have that I can even use on a boy card.  I guess I'm going to have to go shopping, too bad:)

I made this card for two challenges:

1. Hope Stamps Eternal where our inspiration was coming from these cute cupcakes.

2.  Sunday Sketch and Stamp #20 where I followed a sketch from Ger.

Supplies: Paper: SU and PTI; Stamp: Pink Cat Studio; Copics: C1, C3, C5, YR18, G28, B28, and Blender; Other: Glossy Accents, Thickers, Buttons, Ribbon, Cuttlebug Folder, and Nestabilities.

Happy Friday!

I'm so glad it's Friday, I'm ready for the weekend.  Some of my scrappy friends are coming over on Saturday and we're going to play with our Copics:)  Here are a couple of cards I made with a new stamp set I bought, aren't they cute!  There are two sentiments with them too, one is Happy Valentine's Day and the other is Hugs and Kisses.  I think these would be good for Mother's Day, Thank You's, or just any about any occassion.  I'll probably make some more and see how they sell on my etsy shop.

Have a great weekend!

Softpencil Week #4

Happy Thursday!  Tomorrow is obviously Friday and I hope you have some great scrappy plans for the weekend.  Some of my friends are coming to my house on Saturday to color some images, I can't wait!

Here is my last card for the January GDT...aren't they adorable!  Our challenge was use to rhinestones, brads, and eyelets or just one of them.  I choose rhinestones...it's like they are looking up into the night sky.

I just wanted to thank Elizabeth for such a great opportunity to work with her images, you'll see more of them on my blog in the future.

TGF - CHA Relay Contest Day 1

Over on The Greeting Farm blog they are having a contest all week while they are away at CHA.  The first image which you see below had to be posted by 6pm CST today in order to receive the next image and then the next image has to be posted by 6pm CST tomorrow, etc. You can receive up to six images, yeh!!!!

I've combined this with a couple of other challenges:

1.  Friday Sketchers - You can find the sketch here.

2.  Anya Ink - The challenge was to make your own dp.  I used a cuttlebug folder for the background on the card and then my swiss dots folder on the orange strips.

ICS #50

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  I went to see A Chorus Line last night and it was good.  It's different from any of the other shows I've seen because there really isn't any scenery.  It takes place in a studio so there are just mirrors.  I think the next show we are going to is Wizard of Oz at the end of February.  Anywhooooo.....

Here is a card I made from a sketch at Inspirational Card Sketches. I just love this MME paper that I found.  I need to find MME-Be Loved paper, I can't find it anywhere here in Jacksonville.

Supplies:  Paper: MME and PTI; Stamp: The Greeting Farm; Copics: Face: E00, R00, R20; Hair: E50, E97, Clothes: YR16, YG11, YG13, RV09; Other: Stickles, Glossy Accents, Inking, and Nestabilities.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #29

Here is another great sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  I used my sparkly paper again (big grin) and the hearts fit just perfectly for this sketch. I think the little bee from Stamping Bella is great to use because it is so simple to color...it would be great for Valentine's Day Cards for a classroom.

Last week I made the Top 5 at Tuesday Morning Sketches...how cool is that!!!

Well I'm off to fix dinner..dd's favorite is spaghetti with corn, yummy.  Then I'm going to see A Chorus Line tonight with some friends.  My Aunt and Grandmother used to take me to the theater when I was younger and I haven't seen it in years.  Over the next several months we're going to see Mamma Mia, Chicago, Hairspray, Wizard of Oz, and Grease.  Have a good night!

Supplies: Paper: My Minds Eye, Craft n Craftin, PTI; Stamp: Stamping Bella; Other: Copics, SU Ribbon, Cuttlebug Folder, and Inking.

Cupcake Craft Challenges #74

I hope everyone is having a good weekend.  I went to a couple of LSS on Friday with my friends, spent some money, and ate some cupcakes!  It can't get better than that!

At one of the LSS's (local stamp store) on Friday and found this pretty sparkling paper. I bought green, blue, pink, and hot pink.  I also bought some ribbon, a couple of stamps, embossing powder, and dp.  I also figured out how to use my light tent while I was there so hopefully my pictures will be better from now on.

Here is a card I made for this weeks challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenges.  Great sketch...one that I'll use again.

My friends wanted me to start listing the colors I use for hair, face, etc when I list my Copics so hopefully this will help others too.

Supplies: Paper: My Minds Eye; Stamp: The Greeting Farm; Copics: Hair: E50, E51, E97, Face: E00, R00, E97, R20, Jeans: B93, B00, and Shirt/Coat: R30, R32, R35, R37; Other: Stickles, Glossy Accents, SU Ribbon, Butoons, Nestabilities, and Inking.

More Challenges......

It's almost Friday (in about 20 minutes) and here's a card I made for three different challenges:

1.  Hope Stamps Eternal - Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #42.  I am really in love with this blog because it uses cupcakes as inspiration, which are my favorite!  I'm actually going scrapping with my friends tomorrow and I'm picking up some cupcakes from this little store called Camicakes.  They are to die for!

2.  Cute Card Thursday - Challenge #96 Using a fairy.  I bought these little fairies from The Greeting Farm and hadn't used them in awhile so I inked them up!

3.  Anya Ink - It's a Greeting Farm challenge blog and this week is all about flowers.

Since the challenges at Hope Stamps Eternal and Anya Ink were all about flowers for me I used one of my acrylic flowers as the base.  I also used some flowered paper from My Minds Eye, one of my flower Nestabilities, and some rhinestone flowers.

Supplies: Paper: My Minds Eye; Stamp: The Greeting Farm; Copics: E00, E51, E53, E97, RV02, RV04, RV06, YR09, BG10, and YG06; Other: Stickles, Glossy Accents, Cuttlebug Folder, Nestabilities, Inking, Distressing, Buttons, SU Ribbon, and Rhinestone Flowers.
